Jonas Salk was born in New York City, October 28, 1914 and died in La Jolla, June 23, 1995 at the age of 80 years is a medical researcher and virologist United States, Salk is a graduate of New York University's physician's School of Medicine in 1993. He then worked as a staff physician at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. . Jonas Salk is best known through the discovery and development of the first polio vaccine is safe and effective.
